Langston Galloway

Galloway was once again a jack-of-all trades for the Knicks off the bench. The combo guard brought energy and defense to the second unit, and was capable of stepping into the starting lineup when needed.

While his stats weren’t as high as his rookie season, when he played 32.4 minutes per game, Galloway still played solid minutes at 24.8 this season. He is one of two Knicks players to play in all 82 games this season, as Galloway was ready and available to play night in and night out.

Galloway played enough that his qualifying offer for next season is now over $2 million, leaving the Knicks with a difficult decision to make when they have to decide if they want to re-sign him this offseason. Galloway wasn’t the most efficient shooter, making only 39.3 percent from the field and 34.4 percent from the three-point line.

But, Galloway does a lot more than score, as he pitches in on the glass, assists and on defense. He added 3.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game to go with solid defense. Galloway won’t wow you with his stats, but you know what you are going to get with him when he is on the court.

It will be a tough decision for the Knicks to decide if Galloway can be a part of a winning team’s rotation or not, but letting a player like him walk away for nothing would be a tough pill to swallow as well.
