Kevin Seraphin

Kevin Seraphin was one the last players the Knicks signed in the offseason as the former Washington Wizard was holding out for a team that had a starting job open. When that didn’t come around, he signed with the Knicks hoping to get a chance to play more than he did with the Wizards.

Instead, he played in fewer games and received less minutes than he did with the Wizards. After playing in 79 games and averaging 15.6 minutes per game with the Wizards in 2014-15, those numbers dropped to 48 and 11 with the Knicks.

Seraphin never really received consistent minutes with the Knicks, as he could never lock down a spot in the rotation. Weight has always been an issue for Seraphin, and he battled nagging injuries throughout the season that kept him from ever getting on track. He actually had arguably the worst season of his career with the Knicks this past season.

In those 11 minutes per game, Seraphin averaged 3.9 points on a career worst 41 percent from the field. He added 2.6 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 0.8 blocks per game, as he did the most he could in his limited minutes. Seraphin will more than likely test the free agent market again and look for a team that he can get more playing time with this offseason.
