1.) Week 6 at Arizona Cardinals

While the Patriots game in Week 16 is a very difficult one for the Jets, the game against the Arizona Cardinals is their toughest given the way the schedule was made. West Coast trips are always difficult for the Jets, and their first true trip out West will be after a road game against the Steelers, and also their fourth road game in six weeks.

While the schedule didn’t do the Jets any favors on their trip to Arizona, the Cardinals are also a very talented team. Last season, the Cardinals finished with a 13-3 record but they were destroyed in the NFC Championship Game by the Carolina Panthers. The Cardinals were very good at home last season, as they were 6-2 last season, with one of their losses coming in a meaningless Week 17 game against the Seattle Seahawks.

The game against the Cardinals also means the return of Todd Bowles to Arizona where he was a defensive coordinator. Having Bowles being familiar with some of the players and schemes in Arizona will help the Jets a bit, but this is going to be the Jets’ most difficult game of the season to win.
