2.) Week 16 at New England Patriots

It is always a difficult game for the Jets when they play the Patriots, but the Patriots at home are nearly untouchable. The Jets haven’t been able to win a game in New England since 2011, which was a shocking playoff upset. The Jets have had success at home against the Patriots in recent years, but they haven’t won a game in New England in the regular season since 2008.

In addition to the Jets’ struggles in New England, the Patriots are once again the cream of the crop in the AFC East. Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski are still two of the best at the respective positions, and will cause headaches for the Jets. Depending on how the Jets handle the beginning part of their schedule, this game may mean either a lot or a little to them. The Patriots are usually playing for home-field advantage at this point in the season, so the Jets will likely be getting the Patriots’ best shot in Week 16.

The game against the Patriots comes right in between two other division games against the Miami Dolphins and Buffalo Bills, as a lot could be decided in the AFC East in the final few weeks of the season.
