Jaromir Jagr

You put Jaromir Jagr on the ice and you will get production. The 44-year old ageless wonder continues to play well despite being drafted before some of his teammates and opponents were even born yet.

Jagr had yet another productive season for the Panthers, and it came out of nowhere. No one expected him to turn in a 66-point season, scoring 27 points with 39 assists. He was one of five Panthers players to score at least 20 goals, being joined by Aleksander Barkov, Vincent Trocheck, Reilly Smith and Jonathan Huberdeau.

Jagr didn’t slow down as the season went on either despite his advanced age. He stayed strong throughout, scoring a point in seven of the last eight regular season games, tallying three goals with eight assists. Three of those games were multi-point efforts, as Jagr just continued what he does best in scoring points for his team.

If there was a team that was able to slow Jagr down this season it was the Islanders. In the two games he played against them, he was able to register only one assist with an even plus/minus ratio. It would be a boon for the Panthers if he is able to get on track against the Islanders, as this series should be closer than people think.
