– Crosby shines

To no surprise, it has been another great season for Sidney Crosby of the Penguins. After a slow start to the season, Crosby is officially on fire for the Penguins, as the five points he totaled in 11 games in October seems like a distant memory. In March, Crosby was arguably the best player in hockey, as he totaled 21 points in 16 games, and the Penguins benefited in the standings from his great play.

Crosby has also had success against the Rangers this season, as in four games, he has totaled four points with three goals and an assist. Throughout his career, Crosby has played very well against the Rangers, as in 55 games, he has totaled 71 points.

Some great players struggle in the playoffs, but Crosby certainly isn’t one of them. In 100 playoff games, Crosby has totaled 118 points. The Penguins are contenders to win the Stanley Cup this season with the way they have been playing, and Crosby will once again shine in the postseason for his team. With a red hot Crosby heading into the playoffs, the Rangers’ defense will have their hands full, and the absence of Ryan McDonagh will also affect the Rangers trying to stop Sid the Kid.

Prediction: Eight total points in the series.
