The New York Yankees filled many holes from 2015 like second base, bench depth, and another big arm in the back of the bullpen. But as spring training draws near, their 2016 starting rotation looks like the team’s biggest weakness.

The starting rotation is just a big question mark right now. The Yankees have about six arms that are capable of starting, but there isn’t one that stands out among the rest as a true ace.

The source of uncertainty with this Yankee rotation has a lot to do with health and effectiveness. I’ve decided to analyze each starter and the concern manager Joe Girardi should have as pitchers and catchers report in just over a month.

Potential 2016 Starters: Masahiro Tanaka, Luis Severino, Nathan Eovaldi, Michael Pineda, CC Sabathia, Ivan Nova
