Usually the injury report brings bad news to Jets fans, but today injuries tell us that the Patriots are going to struggle to spoil the hopes and dreams of Gang Green getting into the postseason.

Wide receivers Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola and defensive backs Patrick Chung and Devin McCourty were ruled out for the AFC East clash. Edelman hasn’t played since the Patriots’ Nov. 15 win over the New York Giants with a foot injury. He recently returned to practice, although his participation has been limited. Amendola played in the Patriots’ last three games after sitting Nov. 29 against the Denver Broncos, but he had to leave New England’s win over the Tennessee Titans last Sunday with a knee injury. That leaves just Brandon LaFell, Keshawn Martin and Chris Harper, who was promoted from the practice squad.

For the Jets not a single player has been ruled out of today’s crucial game. Nevertheless, there are some players who could end up being DNPs when game time rolls around.

Listed as doubtful is Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa, who’s dealing with a neck injury that had him a limited participant in practice. The rookie out of Nebraska comes into the game with 19 receptions for 241 yards in 10 games played. The second player that is most likely to not take the field is corner-back Dee Milliner, who did not participate in this week’s practices due to an injured hamstring and is listed as doubtful to play.

The good news for the Jets is: everyone else is expected to play, while the patriots are all sorts of banged up.
