Matchup Of The Game Recap

In our keys to the game, we highlighted the battle of sixth men between Langston Galloway and Victor Oladipo as the one to watch. It lived up to the billing, as Galloway and Oladipo each had strong games for their respective teams.

Galloway continued to play well for the Knicks as the first guard off the bench. He scored 10 points on 3-of-7 shooting, but unfortunately went only 1-of-4 from deep. He missed a wide open three-pointer that could have swung the momentum for the Knicks, but that was the kind of night it was for Galloway and his teammates. He also added four rebounds and three assists.

Oladipo continued to thrive in his role off the bench for the Magic, as he hurt the Knicks once again. He scored 12 points with two rebounds and two assists tonight, as he didn’t have as big a scoring outburst as the first meeting but did enough to get his team the victory tonight.

Both players finished with positive plus/minus ratios, as Galloway had a +5 and Oladipo had a +6. They played almost to a stalemate tonight, as both players had strong games off the bench.
