Both the Jets and the Giants are in the hunt for a playoff spot this season, as they Jets are 6-5 and the Giants are 5-6. For the Jets, they won’t be able to win their division once again this season with the New England Patriots having another magnificent season, but the possibility of a wild card spot is there.
The Jets have had some bad losses to teams that are also in the playoff picture in the AFC, which makes winning games a necessity to them without the tie breaker against many AFC teams.
The Giants come into Week 13 after a bad loss to the Washington Redskins in Week 12, as the team they are fighting for the NFC East with was able to beat them in the head-to-head matchup. In order to make the playoffs, the Giants will likely need to win their division, but that probably won’t require them to be much above .500.
With both teams fighting for a playoff spot, this has the makings of one of the better games between the two teams with something on the line for each of them.
Here are five bold predictions for Sunday’s game between the Jets and the Giants.
