The New York Knicks will be looking to snap their four-game losing streak Wednesday night against a team that knows a thing or two about losing streaks in the Philadelphia 76ers. This will be the first of four meetings between the Atlantic Division foes, and surprisingly it won’t be the 76ers entering the game on a losing streak.
That is because the Knicks snapped their 18-game losing streak to start the season last night against the Los Angeles Lakers, when they picked up their first victory of the season. It will be the Knicks instead entering on a losing streak, as things have fallen apart a little bit over the last week.

The Knicks enter this game with two blowout losses to the Miami Heat, a nine-point loss to the Orlando Magic and a bad loss to the Houston Rockets on Sunday when they blew a 14-point lead. That loss made them 0-2 to start their four-game homestand; hopefully it will result in the opposite of their road trip, when they won the first two but lost the last two.
Things have become a struggle for the Knicks recently as their bench performance has not been as strong and Derek Fisher has had a quicker hook with some players. Will they be able to get things going against a 76ers team that is essentially interchangeable between their starting unit and second unit?
The Knicks have had success against the 76ers in recent seasons despite their own struggles, going 6-2 against them the last two seasons. With an improved team, the Knicks will look to continue that success this season.
What will it take for that to happen? Check out our keys to the game for the Knicks as they look to end their losing streak at four and put the 76ers back on a losing streak.
