The New York Knicks will be looking to bounce back from their disappointing loss to the Miami Heat Tuesday tonight against the Orlando Magic. It is also the last game of their four-game road trip, as the Knicks will look to end that on a night and take home a winning record from it.
The Magic are one of the younger, up-and-coming teams in the NBA. They have an extremely young core with a lot of upside, including their top draft pick from this season, Mario Hezonja. In addition they have Evan Fournier in the middle of a breakout season and a strong anchor in the middle in Nikola Vucevic.

This will be the start to a three-game homestand for the Magic, who are 6-8 overall and 4-3 at home. They are as good, if not better, than that 4-3 record at home tells. They have one point losses to the Washington Wizards and Oklahoma City Thunder, while defeating the Los Angeles Lakers, Utah Jazz, Toronto Raptors and Minnesota Timberwolves. Despite their losing record, the Knicks cannot take this team lightly as they come to play every night under new head coach Scott Skiles.
The Knicks record is 8-7 heading into the game with a strong 5-3 record on the road. Before the hiccup against the Heat, the Knicks were one of the strongest road teams in the NBA in every facet of the game. They will look to get back on that track against the Magic.
Last season these two teams split the season series, each winning a game on the other team’s court. Tonight will be the first of three meetings between the two this season.
What will it take for the Knicks to get back to their winning ways and end their four-game road trip on a positive? Check out our keys to the game for when the Knicks make their only visit to Amway Center this season.
