Shane Vereen burns former team

One of the Giants’ biggest offseason acquisitions this past summer was the signing of Super Bowl champion, Shane Vereen. Vereen had a very nice career in New England as their versatile receiving back, and he has had a similar role for the Giants in New York.

This season, Vereen has totaled 174 rushing yards, a 4.2 yards per carry average, 34 receptions, 309 receiving yards, and three receiving touchdowns. Players frequently play well against their old teams, and if the Giants are trailing in this game, Vereen will have more opportunities for receptions.

A good sign that Vereen will play well against his former team is that he has caught two touchdown passes in the last two weeks. A red hot Vereen will keep it going in Week 10 against his former team.

Prediction: Six receptions, 50 receiving yards, one receiving touchdown.
