The New York Knicks are coming off a disappointing loss to the Charlotte Hornets Wednesday night when Kristaps Porzingis three-pointer at the buzzer was waived off. It was a disappointing outcome for the Knicks, but a success two-game road trip as they had defeated the Toronto Raptors the previous night.
Now the Knicks will be returning home for the start of a three-game homestand, which will start off with a rematch with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Knicks have already played against the Cavaliers once this season, losing last week 96-86 in a game they had held the lead for throughout, and were ahead in by as many as 15 points.
The Knicks will now be looking to exact some revenge on the Cavaliers on their home court and try evening the season series up at one win apiece. It will not be an easy task for the Knicks, as the Cavaliers come into the game rolling and looking like they are only getting better.

The Cavaliers will be entering the game on a seven-game winning streak, as they haven’t lost since opening night against the Chicago Bulls. They are beginning to get into a groove and fall into a routine, as they are also getting healthier at the same time.
The Knicks will also have a different look this time around, as Arron Afflalo is finally healthy and ready to play after making his debut against the Hornets. The Knicks may not have won the game, by Afflalo had a successful return, putting up solid stats and coming away from the game unscatched.
Will Afflalo be enough to get the Knicks a victory against the Cavaliers this time around? We will have to tune in to find out. The Knicks succeeding in these areas would also be helpful.
