Player Of The Game: Jose Calderon

There was a lot of people clamoring for Calderon to lose his starting job, but for the third straight game Calderon was able to produce well for the Knicks. Tonight he was able to contain the lightning quick Kemba Walker while also providing some offense of his own.

Walker was held to only nine points on 2-of-11 from the field, and Calderon was a big part of that. Offensively Calderon was a spark, as he scored 13 points on 6-of-9 from the field. The only misses he had on the night were from beyond the three-point line, as Calderon was knock down with his off the dribble jumper coming around screens.

He also added two rebounds, five assists and one steal as Calderon got the job done tonight. He has been the scapegoat for a lot of people in the early going of the season, but he was not the reason for the loss tonight.
