Coaching Staff Grade: A

The coaching staff had their hands full this week with an up-and-coming Buccaneers team that was coming off a big win on the road against the Atlanta Falcons last week. They came in prepared though, and came away with a game that was essentially a must win for the Giants.

Ben McAdoo is mixing and matching his running backs as well as you can. It is not necessarily a good thing that you have four running backs to mix in, but it is good to see them all contributing in some way when they are on the field. The only thing you would like to see is McAdoo try and get more people involved in the passing game. The Giants have some weapons, and were a bit shorthanded with Larry Donnell out, but getting others involved will help take pressure off Beckham Jr. and Manning.

On defense, Steve Spagnuolo will once again have his hands full. He has been shorthanded all season in the secondary, now he will be shorthanded along the defensive line. Just when Jason Pierre-Paul was able to return, the Giants are going to lose Johnathan Hankins for an extended period of time because of a torn pectoral. He will have to back to the drawing board to figure out how to make up for that loss of production, as Hankins has been arguably the most consistent, durable performer for the Giants this season.

The Giants will have a totally different monster on their hands next week though, as they will be facing off with the New England Patriots at MetLife Stadium. The Patriots are on their revenge tour, taking apart everyone after the NFL tried so hard to suspend Tom Brady. They will come into that game with an undefeated record, something the Giants like to blemish when these two teams face off.
