9.) Minnesota Vikings (4-2)

The Vikings were able to win once again in Week 7, as they completed the season sweep of the Lions already. It wasn’t the normal Adrian Peterson show in the win on Sunday, as Teddy Bridgewater had one of his better games of the season. In the win, Bridgewater totaled 316 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. The Vikings look like a real contender in the NFC playoff picture after a few good weeks.

8.) Arizona Cardinals (5-2)

The Cardinals were able to bounce back at home against the Ravens on Monday Night Football with a 26-18 win. Carson Palmer played very well in the win, as he totaled 275 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. Most importantly for Palmer was that he didn’t turn the ball over, and that seems to be key for the Cardinals.

7.) New York Jets (4-2)

The Jets may have lost in Week 7, but they gave the Patriots a run for their money on the road and that gives them some credibility as a contender. An injured Chris Ivory really hurt the Jets’ chances to upset the Patriots in New England, but even with their running back hurt, they still could have beaten the Patriots if not for a few missed opportunities.
