The Giants special teams were excellent against the Cowboys, and is becoming quite a strength for the team. We will start with the steadiest producer of them all, Josh Brown. While he may have kicked one of the kickoffs out of bounds, he made up for it. He nailed both his field goal attempts, from 47 and 37 yards, keeping him perfect for the season. He also rewrote the Giants record book for consecutive kicks made, breaking his own record.

Brad Wing was able to get back on track punting. While he may have had his first two touchbacks of the season, he still planted one inside the 20 yard line. His last punt of the day also seemed to confuse Cole Beasley, who muffed it. The ball was recovered on the bounce by Myles White, sealing the victory for the Giants. Wing has been a major improvement over Steve Weatherford for the Giants.

The star of the night though was Dwayne Harris. After the Cowboys tied the game at 20 about midway through the fourth quarter, Harris made sure their happiness was short lived. He took the ensuing kickoff back to the house for a 100 yard touchdown, sticking it to his old team and helping his new one get a big victory.

The coverage teams for the Giants were strong once again as well. They allowed only 22 yards per kickoff return, and held Beasley to only seven yards on two attempted punt returns. When you cover kicks and punts that well, you are putting your team in a position to succeed and win the field position game.
