For the second consecutive week, the Giants passing offense was not very dynamic, or in sync. Eli Manning was unable to build any type of rhythm, as the Cowboys were able to get just enough pressure on him to blow up a couple plays. He was able to secure the ball, as he didn’t throw any interceptions this week, but came close when a call was overturned as it turned out the football hit the turn before bouncing off Byron Jones’ leg and into the hands of the Cowboys.

Other than that, it was a ho-hum day for Manning. He completed only 13-of-24 for 170 yards, throwing zero touchdowns. He was sacked twice and hit another three times, which is too many times for only dropping back for 24 attempts.

Rueben Randle led the way yardage wise with 68 on two receptions, his highlight coming with a one-handed grab down the sideline when the Giants were pinned deep in their own territory. Dwayne Harris also picked up a big chunk play to set up a field goal for the Giants, and he is someone we will hear from again later on. Odell Beckham Jr. and Larry Donnell led the way reception wise with four each, going for 35 and 18 yards respectively.

While it is disappointing to see the Giants passing game off track for a second consecutive week, it was encouraging that the rest of the team was able to pick them up for the victory. They should find many more opportunities against the Saints.
