Greg Hardy has a checkered resume off the field, but on the field there is no denying the talent he has. After serving his four game suspension to start the season, Hardy came out ready to go in his first appearance against the New England Patriots. Hardy hadn’t appeared in a game in over a year, but he showed no signs of rust, getting five tackles, two sacks and forced fumble.

He will look to do the same against the Giants this week, and he is getting them at a good time. The Eagles pass rush is nowhere near as talented as the Cowboys group, yet the Giants continue to make players such as Connor Barwin look like Hall of Famers whenever they play them. Hardy is probably licking his chops coming off the Cowboys bye week after seeing what the Eagles did to the Giants offensive line and Eli Manning last week.

The last time Hardy played against the Giants was in 2012 as a member of the Panthers. In that game, the Giants got blown out 38-0 and Hardy had a big hand in it. He racked up eight tackles with three sacks as the Giants had no answer for him.

It will be important for the Giants to slow down Hardy if they want Manning to have time to pick apart the Cowboys weak secondary. Hardy will try his best to make that a difficult task. It will be a matchup to watch as Hardy looked good in his first appearance and had success against the Giants in his last appearance against them.
