Eli Manning had his toughest game of the season against the Philadelphia Eagles last week on Monday Night Football. He entered the game getting sacked only four times and throwing two interceptions; he left it with those numbers doubled, as he was sacked four times and threw two interceptions against the Eagles. He will look now to get back on track against the Cowboys, but it will not be an easy task.

In the season opener, Manning struggled a bit against the Cowboys. He completed 20-of-36 passes for only 193 yards, as the Giants didn’t attack the Cowboys much vertically at all. Will that change this time around for Manning and the Giants?

With the struggles of the run game, the Giants need to rely on the arm of Manning to get the offense going. With Odell Beckham Jr. and Rueben Randle both looking ready to play, he will have his full allotment of weapons at his disposal to get the job done.

If the offensive line can get things back on track, expect Manning to do just that. He has had success in his career against the Cowboys, and it should continue if given the opportunity to do so. The Cowboys pass rush is improved, but the secondary isn’t an intimidating one. Morris Claiborne and Brandon Carr are in for a long afternoon if Manning is given time in the pocket.
