The New York Mets will be traveling for Game 3 of the NLCS to take on the Chicago Cubs at Wrigley Field. The Mets will be looking to take a commanding 3-0 lead, as they won the first two games of the series at Citi Field.

The Mets will have the clear advantage on the mound, as 2014 NL Rookie of the Year Jacob deGrom will toe the rubber against Kyle Hendricks. deGrom was strong for the Mets in the NLDS, making two starts against the Los Angeles Dodgers and winning both times.

The Cubs were able to win the game Hendricks started against the St. Louis Cardinals in their NLDS series, but he was not on top of his game, giving up three runs in 4 2/3 innings. One thing we could see a lot of tonight is strikeouts, as deGrom piled up 20 in his 13 innings of work while Hendricks had seven.

deGrom will be tasked with slowing down a Cubs offense that has not yet been able to put things together in the NLCS, but has some hard hit balls. This will be the third time that deGrom faces off with the Cubs, and if the first two times are any indication than the Cubs could have some confidence tonight. In the two regular season starts deGrom had against the Cubs, both Met losses, he surrendered eight runs, seven earned, in 10 1/3 innings. Will that trend continue in Game 3?

Also, keep an eye on Daniel Murphy. He has been outstanding for the Mets throughout the postseason, clobbering five home runs in total and one in four consecutive games. Will he be able to extend those amazing streaks and re-write the history books? Will he continue on his scorching pace carrying the Mets offense, or will he get some more help from his teammates?

It is all something we will find out tonight when the Mets and Cubs face off in an important Game 3. Not sure where to find the game? We have you covered as we have all the information you will need to either watch on television, stream online or listen to on the radio.
