Odell Beckham Jr.’s worst game in his career thus far came against the Philadelphia Eagles last season in his second career game. That was a tough one, as Victor Cruz injured his knee and the Giants offense was thrown out of whack because of it. Beckham Jr. will once again struggle against the Eagles, not because he is a youngster but because of his injury.

Beckham Jr. missed some time at the end of the game last week against the San Francisco 49ers when he injured his hamstring. Anytime he injures a hamstring anyone that works for the Giants are is a fan of them gets nervous, as it delayed the start of his career last season and was something he battled this offseason as well.

With him battling yet another hamstring injury, he is considered extremely questionable for the game against the Eagles. But, the Giants didn’t sign a receiver this week, which is a positive sign to Beckham Jr. suiting up. Even if he takes the field though, it will most likely not be at full strength.

There is a good chance that the Giants use him as a decoy, because if he is on the field the Eagles will have to account for him. The Giants should not risk further injuring their best player as one game in Week 6 should not trump the whole season outlook.

Because of that, if Beckham Jr. suits up he will have his worst statistical game of his young career. Hamstring injuries are tough for receivers to handle, and cannot be taken lightly.
