9.) New York Giants (3-2)
In one of the most exciting games of the week, the Giants were able to avoid yet another loss with a lead in the fourth quarter. The 49ers certainly showed up in the second half of the Sunday Night Football game, but the Giants were able to take sole possession of first in the NFC East. A great catch by Larry Donnell in the end zone could be a turning point in the Giants’ season.
8.) New York Jets (3-1)
The Jets were on their bye week in Week 5 after a win in London against the Dolphins. New York will have a chance to move to 4-1 this Sunday with a home game against the Washington Redskins, but a big battle is looming. The Jets need to make sure they don’t look ahead to Week 7 against the Patriots, as the Redskins can’t be taken lightly.
7.) Carolina Panthers (4-0)
The undefeated Panthers had the week off with their 4-0 record, but they have a big test coming in Week 6. Next week, the Panthers will travel to Seattle where their season ended last year. The Seahawks aren’t playing great this season and with an extra week to prepare, the Panthers could have upset on their minds.
