18.) San Diego Chargers (2-3)

Philip Rivers once again had an impressive game statistically, but mistakes by Rivers and the Chargers led to their third loss of the season. Rivers threw a costly pick-six to the Steelers in the loss, and a banged up Chargers’ offensive line seemed to have a holding penalty every other play. Antonio Gates came back from his suspension with a bang, as he totaled two receiving touchdowns in the loss.

17.) Washington Redskins (2-3)

The Redskins nearly were able to defeat the Falcons in their dome, as their defense played very well against the high-powered Falcons offense. The Redskins shockingly kept the game close against the Falcons despite not being able to run the ball against the poor Falcons’ run defense.

16.) Oakland Raiders (2-3)

The Raiders continue to show their improvement in 2015, as they were nearly able to defeat the Broncos at home. In the six-point loss, the Raiders’ defense shut down the Broncos’ offense, but a pick-six by Derek Carr proved to be a costly mistake in the loss. Oakland is getting better, but they need to continue to develop before we can consider them any kind of threat this season.
