Week 5 of the NFL season is in the books and it’s now time to update the NFL Power Rankings after an exciting week of action.

As the season progresses, we are starting to see that playoff teams from last year are not living up to those expectations this season. One of those teams is the 0-5 Detroit Lions, and they have the honor of being the 32nd ranked team in the NFL Power Rankings this week.

32.) Detroit Lions (0-5)

After a tough loss on Monday Night football to the Seahawks, the Lions were destroyed at home against the Cardinals. The Lions are still the only team in the NFL without a win, as this team looks nothing like a team that made the playoffs in 2014. Things were going so bad for Matthew Stafford and the Lions that Dan Orlovsky not only played, but threw the ball 38 times in the loss.

31.) Houston Texans (1-4)

Losing at home to the Indianapolis Colts with Andrew Luck not playing is a horrible loss for the Texans. The Texans’ offense got a shot in the arm when Brian Hoyer came in for Ryan Mallett, but their defense was torched by the Colts. Besides J.J. Watt and Jadeveon Clowney, the Texans’ defense looks bad.

30.) Miami Dolphins (1-3)

Things have started as bad as they could have for the Dolphins, as they are 1-3 and their head coach Joe Philbin has already been fired. The good thing for the Dolphins is that they have two very winnable games in the next two weeks against the Titans and Texans. There isn’t much of a reason to have faith that the Dolphins will turn it around, but this was a team that was expected to be very good in 2015.
