The star wide receiver has gotten in some hot water after being caught throwing a punch against the Bills and subsequently being fined, but Odell Beckham Jr. is still a monster in the fantasy football world. A positive matchup against the 49ers will only help that, as their helpless defense will have no answer for him on the field.

Everything said about Randle applies to Beckham Jr., but two fold. Beckham Jr. is a WR1 no matter the matchup, but against the 49ers he could be in the discussion as the top scoring WR for the week. The other top receivers the 49ers defense has been tasked with defending have gone off for big games, as Antonio Brown had 32 and Larry Fitzgerald had 29.9 in 0.5 point PPR with every 10 yards being one point and six points for every receiving touchdown. There is no reason he cannot approach those numbers as well as the No.1 option in the Giants passing attack.

Also, Beckham Jr.’s dud games this season have come on the road, averaging only 6.6 points per game. But at two games at MetLife Stadium, Beckham Jr. has averaged 20.75 points per game despite less targets. The 49ers defense will allow big plays, and that is exactly where Beckham Jr. excels.

Start him with supreme confidence in year long leagues, and try your best to fit him into your DFS lineups. He is obviously pricy at $9,000 on DK and FD, being the second and fifth highest priced player on the sites respectively. It is tough to fit players into your lineup at that price, but there aren’t many safer options in all of the NFL this week.
