The first two games of the season, Rueben Randle was an afterthought in the Giants offense. He was nonexistent, being targeted seven times, catching four passes for 28 yards. But, Tom Coughlin and the coaching staff said they needed to get him more involved and that is what they have done.

Randle has been a bigger part of the offense the last two weeks, scoring a touchdown in consecutive innings. He went off against the Washington Redskins Week 3 with seven catches for 116 yards and a touchdown, and followed it up with a decent three catches, 31 yards and one touchdown against the Bills. If fantasy football owners were to pick a team for Randle to face to continue that streak, there aren’t many better ones than the 49ers.

The only thing working against Randle this week is the potential game flow. With how well the Giants are playing and how poor the 49ers are, many people are expecting the Giants to get an early lead and put the game away early. If that happens, the Giants will go away from their passing game, but there will still be plenty of chances early in the game.

The 49ers are giving up the 7th most points per game in fantasy football this season. They have given up monster games to Antonio Brown and Larry Fitzgerald, and solid ones to James Jones, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Mike Wallace. Expect Randle to come in closer to the mid-teens numbers of Jones than the WR1 of Brown or Fitzgerald.

He makes for a risky, but potentially worthwhile play in DFS tournaments. His price ($4,400 DK, $5,900 FD) will not break the bank and make for a worthwhile boom or bust play against a shaky 49ers secondary.
