Victor Cruz will be making his much anticipated return to the Giants lineup and is our first player to keep an eye on. Cruz injured his knee in Week 6 last season against the Eagles, which required patellar tendon surgery. Cruz recovered from that, but then had to battle a calf injury to his other leg that kept him out of practice for about five weeks. With that now behind him, he has been progressing more and more in practice and is set to make his 2015 debut against the Bills.

Cruz is sure to be eased in by the Giants, but he should make what is already a dangerous passing attack that much more dangerous. With Odell Beckham Jr., Rueben Randle, Shane Vereen and Larry Donnell already in place, Cruz will give Eli Manning yet another weapon at his disposal.

Cruz is itching to get back on the field and should only make the Giants aerial attack that much better. He should step right into the starting slot receiver role, as the Giants moved on from slot man Preston Parker last week after he made five drops in the first two games of the season. He may not play every snap, but it will be encouraging nonetheless to see Cruz back on the field with his teammates.

Cruz is sure to experience some jitters heading into the game, but the Giants will have a plan in place to make sure he makes it through okay. Getting through without any setbacks should be near the top of the goals for Cruz in his first game back. Getting to see a Salsa Dance will just be an added bonus for the Giants and their fans in Cruz’s first game back.
