9.) Minnesota Vikings (2-1)
The Minnesota Vikings have bounced back nicely after an embarrassing loss in Week 1. After not giving Adrian Peterson the ball enough in the first game of the season, the Vikings have made the obvious adjustment in their game-plan to give Peterson the ball.
In the Week 3 win, Peterson totaled 126 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. Teddy Bridgewater isn’t playing very well still, but Peterson is doing enough to get the Vikings wins.
8.) Buffalo Bills (2-1)
The Buffalo Bills had one of the best wins of the week on the road against the Miami Dolphins. In the Bills’ 41-14 win on the road, their offense was firing on all cylinders. Tyrod Taylor continues to play well, as he totaled 277 passing yards and three touchdown passes.
Buffalo’s running game is still its backbone, but it isn’t LeSean McCoy doing the damage. Karlos Williams was the Bills’ leading rusher on Sunday, as he totaled 110 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown.
7.) Carolina Panthers (3-0)
Week 3 was the Cam Newton show in Carolina, as he led his team to a win against the New Orleans Saints. The Panthers need Newton to be great this season with a lack of talent around him, and he showed that capability on Sunday.
In the win, Newton totaled 315 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, 33 rushing yards, and one rushing touchdown. Greg Olsen was the favorite target for Newton, as Olsen totaled eight receptions, 134 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns.
