12.) Pittsburgh Steelers (2-1)
The Pittsburgh Steelers were able to get a victory on the road against the St. Louis Rams, but it came at the cost of Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers’ defense was able to rise to the occasion on the road which was a big reason why the Steelers were able to win.
For the next few weeks, it will be Michael Vick under center filling in for Roethlisberger. Vick did well against the Rams, but it will be very important for him to limit the turnovers as long as he is starting. Without Roethlisberger, the Steelers are going to have to rely on Le’Veon Bell to carry the offense.
11.) Oakland Raiders (2-1)
The Oakland Raiders’ young core has sparked them to a winning record after three games this season. In Week 3, the Raiders were able to defeat the Cleveland Browns on the road by a score of 27-20.
Derek Carr had another good game by totaling 314 passing yards and two passing touchdowns. On the ground, Latavius Murray totaled 139 rushing yards and one rushing touchdown. The third part of the young core played well too, as Amari Cooper totaled eight receptions and 134 receiving yards.
10.) New York Jets (2-1)
The New York Jets suffered their first loss of the season at home to the Philadelphia Eagles. Injuries to Eric Decker and Chris Ivory were too much for the Jets’ offense to overcome, as Ryan Fitzpatrick had to throw the ball 58 times in the loss.
New York had four costly turnovers after two straight weeks of forcing five turnovers per game against their opponents. With London calling in Week 4, the Jets need to get Decker and Ivory back and healthy for their game against the Miami Dolphins.
