15.) Philadelphia Eagles (1-2)
The Philadelphia Eagles finally got into the win column on Sunday against the New York Jets. Without DeMarco Murray, Ryan Mathews was the featured back, and he played excellent against the Jets. Mathews totaled 108 rushing yards, as the Eagles were able to control the game on the ground.
With all the injuries to the Dallas Cowboys, the Eagles are still very much alive in the NFC East with a 1-2 record.
14.) Seattle Seahawks (1-2)
It may have taken until Week 3, but the defending NFC Champions looked like the team of 2014 finally. Even with an injured Marshawn Lynch, the Seahawks were able to handle the Chicago Bears with ease.
Jimmy Graham finally made an impact with the Seahawks, as he totaled seven receptions, 83 receiving yards, and one receiving touchdown. Graham wasn’t a big part of the Seahawks’ offense in the first two games, as he was way overdue to get involved in the Seahawks’ offense.
13.) Dallas Cowboys (2-1)
The injuries to Tony Romo and Dez Bryant caught up to the Cowboys in Week 3, as they were handed their first loss of the season. The Cowboys ran the ball very well against the Falcons, but it wasn’t enough.
Joseph Randle finally broke out in his third game as a starter, as he totaled 87 rushing yards and three rushing touchdowns. The Cowboys’ defense got a big reality check against the Falcons, as high scores like Week 3 can be a sign of things to come.
