24.) San Francisco 49ers (1-2)
After a nice win to start the season against the Minnesota Vikings, the San Francisco 49ers are playing like the team we thought they would be. In Week 2, the 49ers were blown out by the Pittsburgh Steelers, and they suffered that same fate against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 3.
Colin Kaepernick had easily the worst game of his career, as he totaled just 67 passing yards and four interceptions. The regression of Kaepernick continues to shock many, as it wasn’t too long ago that he was leading the 49ers to the Super Bowl.
23.) St. Louis Rams (1-2)
The St. Louis Rams had another disappointing offensive performance against the Pittsburgh Steelers, as they were unable to find the end zone in their 12-6 loss. After a great debut against the Seattle Seahawks, Nick Foles hasn’t played all that well for the Rams in their past two games.
Week 3 did see the debut of Todd Gurley, who began to kick the rust off. In the loss, Gurley totaled just nine rushing yards on six carries, but it was good to see him back on the field so early in the season.
22.) Washington Redskins (1-2)
The Washington Redskins were unable to start a winning streak after defeating the St. Louis Rams in Week 2. Thursday’s game against the Giants couldn’t have started out worse, as they had a punt blocked on their first drive of the game.
In the first two weeks of the season, the Redskins were doing a great job running the football, but shockingly against the Giants they weren’t able to. Kirk Cousins was asked to do way too much in Week 3, as he threw 49 passes, and that led to two interceptions. The Redskins were looking like a possible surprise team heading into Week 3, but the loss against the Giants have knocked them down a notch.
