9.) Carolina Panthers (2-0)

It hasn’t been pretty for the Panthers in the first two weeks of the season, but they are 2-0. The loss of Kelvin Benjamin really crippled an already un-explosive offense. Cam Newton is pretty much doing it all for the Panthers through the air and on the ground this season.

In the Week 2 win against the Houston Texans, Newton was the Panthers’ leading rushing with 76 rushing yards and a spectacular rushing touchdown. The Panthers will continue to run the football a lot and play good defense in 2015 to hopefully win games.

8.) Atlanta Falcons (2-0)

The NFC South was flat out awful last season, but the along with the Carolina Panthers, the Atlanta Falcons are off to a very good start to the 2015 season. The Falcons have been victorious against two NFC East teams with wins against the New York Giants and Philadelphia Eagles.

Julio Jones is off to a great start to the season, as he has totaled 22 receptions, 276 receiving yards, and two receiving touchdowns. Atlanta’s offense has a lot of talented, but their defense has also looked like it’s improved a bit after being one of the worst in the league in 2014.

7.) New York Jets (2-0)

The New York Jets were able to pass their first test of the season by beating the Indianapolis Colts on Monday Night Football rather easily. Todd Bowles has the Jets’ defense playing well and forcing turnovers. In the first two games of the season, the Jets have forced 10 turnovers already.

Brandon Marshall has been the best Jets’ wide receiver that we’ve seen in a long time and Ryan Fitzpatrick is likely going to be keeping his job for the remainder of the season with the way the Jets are playing.
