4.) Arizona Cardinals (1-0)

Before the injury to Carson Palmer last season, the Arizona Cardinals were one of the best teams in football. This season, Palmer is back and healthy and the Cardinals are looking to accomplish great things in 2015.

They got off to a good start with a home win against the New Orleans Saints, as Carson Palmer looked great. In the 31-19 win, Palmer totaled 307 passing yards and three touchdown passes. With Palmer on the field, the Cardinals demonstrated last year that they can beat anyone in the NFL.

3.) Denver Broncos (1-0)

In a matchup of two very good teams in the AFC, the Denver Broncos were able to defeat the Baltimore Ravens at home. They are going to be concerned moving forward, as Peyton Manning and the offense didn’t play well against the Ravens.

Manning totaled just 175 passing yards, one interception, and zero touchdown passes. With Manning struggling, it also led to quiet games for Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas who suffered the domino effect.

The Broncos’ defense looked really good against the Ravens, and if the offense is going to be taking a step backward, the defense needs to be great.

2.) Green Bay Packers (1-0)

The Packers came into 2015 with a lot of expectations as always after another very good 2014 season. In the preseason, the Packers suffered a huge blow to their title hopes when wide receiver Jordy Nelson tore his ACL. Nelson was the best receiver on the Packers last season, and his production is going to be hard to be replaced.

In Week 1, the Packers didn’t have a tough matchup of paper against the Chicago Bears, but division games on the road are never easy. The Packers trailed at halftime of the game, but they were able to win the game 31-23 behind three touchdown passes from Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers have a huge game against the Seahawks on Sunday Night Football next week in a rematch of the NFC Championship Game.

1.) New England Patriots (1-0)

The defending Super Bowl Champions were able to pick up right where they left off last season. After a long summer of dealing with the Tom Brady and Deflate-Gate news, the Patriots looked like a motivated and focused team in Week 1.

Brady has dealt with a lot of distractions this offseason, but against the Steelers he looked like he didn’t miss a beat. Brady threw four touchdown passes, as he made quite the statement on Opening Night. Brady’s favorite target in their first win of the season was tight end Rob Gronkowski. A healthy Gronkowski scored three touchdowns and has emerged as one of the most unguardable players in the league.
