And The Winner Is…

The Giants and Cowboys will renew their rivalry on Sunday Night, and like so many times in the past they will not disappoint. The two teams will be in a shootout, as neither defense has the firepower to slow down two of the most explosive and prolific offenses in the NFL.

It is important for a team to get off to a strong start in Week 1, and that is exactly what the Giants will do. They will end their season opener drought, and get into the win column to start the season. The Giants have gotten off to bad starts for three straight seasons, so getting off to a good one will be a welcome change.

It will not be an easy game, as the Giants and Cowboys always play it close. Las Vegas has this game set as the second highest over/under for the week, which means they are expecting scoring early and often. These teams will not disappoint, as they will come firing right out of the gate. It took the Giants until Week 3 last year, and Week 7 in 2013 to get their first victory, but in 2015 it will come in Week 1.

The Giants will pull off an upset and head into their home opener Week 2 against the Atlanta Falcons and another high powered offense on a high note.

Prediction: Giants 34, Cowboys 31
