Matt Harvey

The Mets’ most polarizing player is their “Dark Knight of Gotham”. It was unfortunate for both Matt Harvey and the New York Mets that Tommy John surgery cost him all of the 2014 season, but Harvey has returned in 2015.

As expected, Harvey has had some bad moments in 2015, as there was certainly some rust for him after missing more than a year. In 2015, Harvey is still putting up very good numbers with an 8-6 record, 3.07 ERA, and 109 strikeouts.

Harvey is the most popular player on the team as shown by the attendance when he is starting a game. He may not have his sharpness back to 100%, but Harvey is still pitching very well for the Mets so far in 2015.

As the season goes on, Harvey should keep regaining his precision and will look to lead the Mets into the playoffs.
