26. San Antonio Spurs

Robert Upshaw. 26. player. 29. This is my “Tim Duncan is retiring soon, so find his eventual replacement,” pick. While there are some things that trouble me about Upshaw, namely his heart condition, there is no denying his talent. For a team that prides themselves on team defense, Upshaw could be a viable option for the Spurs and their life without Duncan.. Center. Washington

27. Los Angeles Lakers (from Houston Rockets)

Shooting Guard. Eastern Washington. Tyler Harvey. 27. player. 20. Imagine replacing Kobe with Harvey. The youngster out of Eastern Washington, like Kobe, is a volume shooter. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, though, as he is able to create his own shot. With at least a year learning from Bryant, Harvey, along with Julius Randle and Jahlil Okafor, could make up quite the nucleus for the Lakers.

28. Boston Celtics (from Los Angeles Clippers)

Syracuse. Rakeem Christmas. 28. player. 18. Christmas is the type of player that the Celtics have historically been fond of. A shot blocker and a rebounder, Christmas would be the sort of rim protector that the Celtics have lacked for a few seasons. It would be ideal for Boston to draft Oubre at 16 and have Christmas waiting for them here.. Center

29. Brooklyn Nets (from Atlanta Hawks)

Delon Wright. 29. player. 147. Perhaps it is time for the Nets to start thinking about replacing Deron Williams. While not anywhere near as good as Williams is offensively, Wright would improve the Nets on defense. Will it be enough to convince Brooklyn to make the switch? Probably not, but Wright could also serve as a legit back up.. Point Guard. Utah

30. Golden State Warriors

player. 41. How would it be fair for the Warriors to find Harrell sitting here for them to take at 30? What he lacks in height (for his position), he makes up on his motor. Just think: the Warriors are bringing in their bench players, and you think “this should be good for our team.” Then you see Harrell coming off the bench; a guy who has a better motor than most starters. Yeah, that’s fair.. Power Forward. Louisville. Montrezl Harrell. 30
