Rick Nash has quickly become one of the biggest underperformers in the NHL Playoffs. After being one of the best goal-scorers in the NHL in the regular season, Nash has once again been missing in action in the playoffs.

In his playoff career, Nash has played in 53 games with just 25 points. Nash’s seven goals and 18 assists are way below his regular season’s averages.

Nash is well beyond due to breakout in the playoffs, and in the Eastern Conference finals, he will.

In 19 games against the Lightning, Nash has 16 points on eight goals and eight assists. Nash did score and important goal in Game 6, which could be a sign he’s heating up finally. Nash’s success or lack thereof could have an impact on whether the Rangers advance.
