The Indianapolis Colts are looking to take the next step towards winning the AFC. As shown in the AFC Championship Game, the Colts need to improve their defense. With the 29th pick in the NFL Draft, the Colts should take a risk by selected Shane Ray.

Another player with Top-10 talent, but issues off the field, Ray can flat out get to the quarterback. The 2014 Defensive Player of the Year in SEC was able to total 14.5 sacks, 65 tackles, and 22.5 tackles for loss at Missouri.

Drafting Ray would give the Colts some good talent at edge-rusher with Trent Cole and Robert Mathis in 2015. Teams are certainly down on Ray because of his off the field issues with substances, but he is a hard talent to pass up on.

49. . CB. LSU. jalen collins. 30. player

The Green Bay Packers’ defense is beginning to improve after a few bad seasons. They do have a need for another cornerback, and in this draft, 30th isn’t a bad spot to be in.

Jalen Collins from LSU would be a very good pick for the Packers to continue to improve their defense. He is a bit raw, as he only made 10 starts in college, but the talent is there. In 2014, Collins had a nice season totaling 38 tackles, one interception, and nine passes defended.

He is 6’1” and ran a 4.48, as his length and speed is what you look for in a cornerback. He will likely not be ready to start from day-one, but could develop into a great cornerback in a few years. Drafting this late in the draft, there are no sure things, but Collins’ upside is intriguing this late in the draft.
