The Browns have a disastrous situation at quarterback, and if they can’t improve that in the draft, it makes sense to surround whoever is the quarterback with talent.

Drafting wide receiver Jaelen Strong from Arizona St. could be a weapon to help improve the Browns’ offense. Strong played two very good seasons at Arizona St, as he totaled 157 receptions, 2,287 receiving yards, and 17 receiving touchdowns. Strong was over 1,000 yards receiving both year’s.

Strong has great size and speed, as he is 6’2”, 217lbs, and ran the 40-yard dash in 4.44 seconds. The Browns have an elite wide receiver in Josh Gordon, but he is extremely unreliable with his off-the-field issues.

If the Browns decide to go with Johnny Manziel as the starter next season, he is going to need reliable weapons. Strong would definitely help improve a stagnant Browns’ offense in 2015.

The Eagles’ offseason has been one of the strangest in the history of the NFL. Chip Kelly was given control of the Eagles’ personnel decisions, and he has ran with it. Kelly and the Eagles have been linked to Mariota, but the price would be steep to move up.

If Kelly doesn’t mortgage everything for Mariota, they would be wise to draft cornerback Byron Jones.

Jones has flown up NFL Mock Drafts after having a magnificent combine. At Connecticut, Jones was originally a safety, and then moved to cornerback for his final two seasons in college. Being a safety, Jones is a very good tackler for a cornerback, but he also did well in coverage.

In his two seasons as a cornerback, Jones totaled five interceptions, 12 passes defended, and one touchdown. It’s impossible to predict what Kelly would do, but Jones is a talented cornerback and would fill a need for the Eagles.
