These are two of the hottest teams in the majors entering the weekend, and something will have to give. We will predict that the seven line Mets will defeat the four line Yankees in the first installment of the 2015 Subway Series, winning two games to one.

The Mets will win the first and third games of the series behind deGrom and Niese, while the Yankees will take the middle one in a surprise victory by Sabathia over the Dark Knight Harvey. The win by Sabathia will also end the Mets’ lengthy winning streak at a franchise record 12 games.

It will be a very entertaining series not only for the fans of the Mets and Yankees, but baseball fans in general. When two teams rolling like these two are, it will make for very good baseball and it will be a treat for everyone who tunes in.
