The 2014-15 season has been a great one for Rick Nash, as he totaled 69 points on the season with 42 goals and 27 assists. While the regular season stats are great for Nash, all Rangers fans will care about is what he does in the postseason.

Two seasons ago, Nash appeared in his first playoffs with the Rangers, and was a disappointment. In 12 games, Nash only totaled five points with one goal. Last season in the Rangers’ Stanley Cup run, Nash played in 25 games, and once again disappointed. Nash was only able to total 10 points with three goals last season, as the Rangers may have been able to win the title if Nash produced up to his norm.

This season, Nash is going to write his playoffs wrongs with a big postseason for the Rangers, and that will start in the first-round against the Penguins. Look for Nash to be extremely aggressive in the first-round, as the last thing he will want is for the media in New York to begin to talk about his playoff woes.
