Freddie Freeman has gotten off to a good start this season, already registering five hits in his 13 at-bats, including two doubles. He has also scored three times and knocked in two RBI. Will he be able to continue that success against the Mets?

The answer is probably a yes, as the Mets are one of the teams that Freeman has had great success against in his career. The Mets always seem to have someone on the Braves they struggle to get out. For years it was Chipper Jones and Adam LaRoche, and now Freeman has taken over that role.

In 72 games and 304 plate appearances, Freeman has a slash line of .313/.388/.549. He also has 59 RBI to go along with 43 runs as the Mets struggle to get him out; he always seems to come through when the Braves need him most against the Mets.

In the opening series against the Nationals, the Mets struggled to contain their best hitter, Bryce Harper. But, they were able to shut down his supporting cast, rendering his strong numbers rather hollow. Expect that to happen again with Freeman, as the Mets will let him do his damage, but it will be easier to overcome if they contain his teammates.
