At this stage of the season, the Knicks bench could be their starting lineup. With as many injuries as they have endured, and the looks they are giving to younger players, the two units are essentially interchangeable. In the last Knicks game, the bench unit was Jason Smith, Cleanthony Early, Quincy Acy, Cole Aldrich and Ricky Ledo. That unit will outscore the bench unit of the Nets.

Along with Lopez dominance in the starting lineup, the Nets’€™ bench has also been a bright spot more often than not during this current hot streak. But on the second night of a back-to-back, the bench unit will suffer a little fatigue and not provide the punch they normally do.

The Knicks bench unit has plenty of players still looking to prove a thing or two, as they will be motivated to play well to either earn a new contract with the Knicks, or have a good audition for another team to sign them this summer. They will outscore the Nets’€™ bench by at least 15 points.
