Lopez Keeps Rolling

Brook Lopez has been on a tear for the Nets recently, and is one of the main reasons that they are back in the playoff race. He is as big an injury risk as anyone in the NBA, but when he is on the court there aren’t many players that can do what he can.

Lopez is one of, if not the best, offensive center in the NBA. That has been on full display recently for anyone trying to slow him down, as he has scored 30-plus points in five of his last seven games. In that span, he has also added four double-digit rebound games, recording a double-double each time. That will continue against the Knicks.

The Knicks are decimated up front and will have no one to slow Lopez down in the middle. Lopez will make it six out of eight games with 30-plus points, and will add another double-double to his stat line as well.

In six of those last seven games, Lopez also has multiple blocked shots. Again, the limitations of the Knicks big men should give Lopez a number of chances to block some shots as well.

Against the Knicks, that streak of multiple blocks will continue as well. Lopez will put up at least 30 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks. How high those numbers go will depend on how many minutes Lopez plays and is needed for.
