The Brooklyn Nets and New York Knicks will be facing off for the final time in the 2014-15 season tonight. While the Nets are still fighting for their playoff lives, the Knicks have been preparing for the summer for quite some time now. They will be looking to play spoiler, which is all the Knicks have left to really play for the remainder of this season.

The two teams couldn’t be heading in any more opposite of directions coming into this one, as the Nets have won four in a row and eight of their last 10, while the Knicks seem to have become experts at tanking, winning only two games the whole month of March, finishing with 14 losses.

That means the matchup Wednesday night has a chance to be a lopsided, ugly affair like much of the Knicks games this season. But there always seems to be a little extra effort given when these two teams matchup, especially since the Knicks will be looking to avoid getting swept by their crosstown rivals.

With that being said, here are five bold predictions for when the Nets and Knicks play each other for the final time this season.
