The Giants haven’t had a force or leader like they had with Antonio Pierce since he retired. The inside linebacker position is the quarterback of the defense, he is the leader. Although the Giants have somewhat found that in Jon Beason, he can’t stay healthy. Dawson provides a solid presence at 6’0″ 235 lbs. He can be brought in from the ground up and can become that new leader the Giants are looking for at linebacker.
