New York Islanders vs. New Jersey Devils: 5 Bold Predictions
By Nick Ziegler
Mar 10, 2015; Uniondale, NY, USA; New York Islanders right wing Kyle Okposo (21) skates with the puck against the New York Rangers during the first period at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum. This game marks Okposo
– Okposo shows life
One of the worst things to happen the Islanders all season was the injury to Kyle Okposo. With Okposo out the Islanders would struggle, and since he’s come back the Islanders haven’t won a game, as their offense has struggled.
It has only been four games back for Okposo, and after missing over a month of time on the ice, there is clearly rust there for him. Okposo is a great scorer in the NHL, and he is due for a good game. In his last four games, Okposo has been held scoreless, as the Islanders’ offense has struggled. That however will change against the Devils, as Okposo will get at least one point to help get the Islanders’ offense going once again.
