The New York Islanders will be facing off with the New Jersey Devils for the final time this season on Saturday night. The Islanders have been in a bit of a funk in the past few games, and with the playoffs right around the corner, New York needs a win.
New York will be heading into the game on a four-game losing streak, which has dropped them down from first-place. The Devils haven’t had the success of the Islanders overall this season, but have held their own despite being one of the worst scoring teams in the league.
So far this season, the Islanders have handled their business against the Devils, as they have won their previous three meetings this season. New York certainly needs another win against the Devils to avoid a five-game losing streak.
Here are five bold predictions for Saturday night’s showdown between the Islanders and Devils.
